Hempri Suyatna is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Social Development and Welfare at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. He holds a Doctor and Master in the Department of Sociology from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia and a Bachelor of Social Development and Welfare from the same university. His research interests are in the areas of Community Empowerment, Economic Democracy, education, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises.
