Dr. Mulyadi Sumarto is a faculty member at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Gadjah Mada University – Indonesia, and a senior researcher at Center for Population and Policy Studies at the same university. Mulyadi also serves as a guest professor at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention, University of Oxford – UK. Trained in PhD in social policy at Australian National University, Mulyadi focuses his work on intersection of welfare regime in developing countries and global social policy, which covers some issues on welfare regime in Southeast Asia, social conflict, clientelism, and global social policy.
